BIO FOR DR. PAUL AND ANNETTE PITTS
Dr. Paul Jonathan Pitts is an American actor/Recording artist born in Dayton, Ohio. Paul has now presented over 9000 career performances on every continent of the world either by television, radio or personal appearances . He has sung leading roles in operas and Broadway in New York, appeared in films in Hollywood, recorded in Nashville and sung in churches, theaters, universities and educational institutions all over the world.
He has sung during two Olympic Games in London and Brazil but considers his greatest honor to have sung for the worldwide television special celebrating Israel’s 60 years of statehood seen in 200 countries to over 300 million people.
He is married to Annette Pitts, a celebrated concert pianist who accompanies him in every concert and provides leading technical production for THE SCRIBE which they have presented over 1200 times in 10 countries. Together, Paul and Annette are involved in a global television network called THE SCRIBE TV that can be seen throughout the world in which countless lives have been changed by the message of salvation.
Whether appearing in concert as the “Pavarotti of Christian music” as he is often introduced, or as the Scribe, “an unforgettable dramatic musical presentation of the life of Christ as seen through the eyes of a centurion soldier”, Paul gives a dynamic presentation. Paul and Annette have given themselves back to their creator for the betterment of human kind.
Dr. Pitts has been quoted in interviews across the country by saying, “If I can touch someone’s heart with the love of God, I will have lived out my purpose for living.”
